Dr. Stephanie Yasmin Cadaval is the IFAS Urban Forest Extension Coordinator for the University of Florida. She is based out of the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatic Sciences. The Extension Coordinator collaboratively developes new resources and educational messaging for UF/IFAS Extension. Stephanie’s goals include increasing public awareness of the benefits of trees and urban forests, engagement in urban forestry activities, and supporting the maintenance and growth of Florida’s urban forests.

Dr. Cadaval has a BA in Political Science and International Studies, New College of Florida and a Masters in Latin American Studies and a PhD in Forest Resources and Conservation, University of Florida.
