Carl is the owner of Coastal Botanics. He has 33 years in the nursery industry dating back to 1992 starting out at Jon’s nursery. He was the General Manager at Chestnut Hill nursery from 1996 until 2007 growing fruit trees, flowering trees and native trees. Carl started Coastal Botanics in 2003 in his backyard. With the help of his wife Jennifer, they developed Coastal Botanics into the source in the southeast for cold tolerant palms.In 2009, Carl worked with Pete Dunnington and Steve Griffin to develop the growing process for the regenerated Sabal palm.
Carl is a graduate of the University of Florida.
