Anna Harrison started Native Butterfly Flowers in 2015 with her husband Tim. They grow and sell Florida Native wildflowers, shrubs, grasses, trees and aquatics with a focus on biological diversity. They strive to bring environmental awareness through community outreach, educating the public about ecosystem functions of native plants and how to convert traditional landscaping practices into areas where life can be abundant. Anna Harrison has a Bachelor’s in Forest Management and Conservation from University of Florida and she has worked as an Eco-Tour Guide in Florida’s natural ecosystems and as an Environmental Educator for Alachua Conservation Trust and in Brevard County public schools.
