Planning, Planting and Maintaining (Ecosystem – Based) Gardens at Bok Tower Gardens

Bok Tower Gardens has been undergoing a variety of restoration projects for the past decade. The instructor, Nancy Bissett, was in charge of planting enhancements for several Central Florida ecosystem gardens including sandhill, flatwoods, wet prairie and bog wildflower plantings. In this class, horticulture and landscape professionals will learn about different elements in these planting designs including site preparation techniques, growing from seeds collected from natural areas, spacing, planting ratios, and maintenance for regeneration and seasonal interest.
