In this workshop, Dr. Robert Hattaway, botanist and author, will teach classical plant identification steps and methods, and take participants through hands-on plant identification exercises with 10-20 plants in a natural area. The first step to solving any problem with plants is to be sure of identification. Knowing how to correctly identify plants will enable attendees to better identify and assess plant potential in both landscapes and natural areas, leading to enhanced plant selection for their design projects.
