Bahama Senna, Senna mexicana var. chapmanii

This flowering shrub is native to Miami-Dade County pinelands and the Keys, which explains its preference for sunny, well drained, frost-free sites. It is prone to stem rot. Use it as an accent plant or in an informal backdrop shrub planting. Compared with Privet Senna, Bahama Senna has smaller, rounded leaves and flowers through the year. bahama senna   bahama senna
